This Beautiful 1936 Gillette Aristocrat Razor is Essentially Brand-New!

 The Gillette Aristocrat is a TTO ( twist to open ), open tooth comb safety razor and features the Exquisite Barber Pole Design Handle Known To Some As The "Bull Dog Style Handle." The entire razor is bright, shiny and magnificent looking, the butterfly doors open & close smoothly. This beautiful Gillette Aristocrat Razor is in Refurbished Replated Condition and with proper care will last another hundred years.  

  This Gillette Aristocrat does not bear a date code indicating it was manufactured before 1951 when Gillette introduced the date code system. It is the Twist To Open De Luxe Model, the Barber Pole handle design with No end caps and the rivets showing.  It features the No Notched Center Positioning Bar which precedes the notched center bar which was introduced in 1948.  

  This 1936 Gillette Aristocrat Deluxe Model is most assuredly a Fantastic looking and shaving razor. All the teeth of the open comb are present. The Aristocrats' Razors teeth are Absolutely Straight, None Of The Teeth Are Bent Or Broken.

 

 This beautiful collectible razor functions precisely as it did back in 1936.  The 1936 has a slightly rounder head than the 1934 which caused it (1936 version) to be slightly more aggressive. Our process:

The original razor is disassembled, cleaned and disinfected. Then any repairs or adjustments are made. Next, the razor is polished, outer doors, outer cap, end caps, and guard edge are mirror polished, followed by a hand polish. We then plate the razor with Nickel Plating. White Platinum or 24K Gold is plated over the Nickel for those razors plated with precious metals. Finally, the razor is reassembled and adjusted. Blade gap is checked with a blade in, between the blade and guard. Fatboy numbers are repainted and the stripe is installed (USA Made Auto Pinstriping). No warranty is implied for the paint or pinstriping. The Plating comes with a 6 month warranty to not crack, chip, wear off, flake or discolor.
