 Gillette Fat Boy Razor Adjustable Refurbished Replated Mirror Nickel G1–X3. The twist TTO (twist to open) action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks.  The blade plate raises and lowers slightly as it should when you adjust the shave. The blade gap of this razor is even along both sides at every adjustment.  As the pictures indicate, there is No Pitting, Brassing or Corrosion. Everything about this razor is 100%!

 The black on the numbers and collar is in Excellent Condition. The razor has been disassembled, cleaned, re-plated and reassembled, it has had a completely thorough cleaning, it has been sanitized and is ready to use.

 This is a really beautiful Gillette Adjustable Fat Boy Razor. The razor is clean and shiny. It opens and shuts smoothly, and the adjuster stops on each click and the blade plate raises and lowers. This great razor is ready to display or use. All mechanics Operate smoothly.

Inspection, Repairs Are Made, Guards Are Straightened, Doors Are Straightened, Mechanics Are Checked, Endcaps Soldered, Razor Is Then Disassembled.

Extensive Deep Cleaning And Disinfection.

Outer Head Surface And Endcaps Are Resurfaced To Remove ALL Scratches And Pitting Then Mirror Polished Smooth. The Rest Of The Razor Will Have A Polished Factory Finish. Heavy Pitting Under Doors, Cap And Baseplate, If Present, Will Be Lessened But Still Be Visible.

Hand Polish With Special Jewelers Cloths.

ALL Razors Receive Ultrasonic Deep Clean / Disinfecting At 160 Degrees Then 160 Degree Electroclean, Then Acid Surface Activation, Then Bright Nickel Plating.

Followed By Plating With 24K Hard Gold Or Palladium Plate If Chosen.

I Paint The Numbers And Selector Spring With Testors Enamel Paint. The Black Ring Below The Selector Dial On Fatboys And Executives Is Now USA Made Automotive Pinstriping, Which In Our Experience Lasts Longer Than Painting With Enamel. Red Tips And Blue Tips Use Humbrol Enamel Paints Then Are Baked On.

Reassembly, Blade Gap Is Checked And Set, Mechanics Are Checked.

 Gillette Fat Boy Razor Adjustable Refurbished Replated Mirror Nickel E1–29. It Has Been Completely Disassembled, Cleaned, Tuned up, Repaired If Necessary, Repainted, Re-Plated and Reassembled, All the Mechanical Items on This Razor Work 100% As They Are Supposed to. The twist action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks.  The adjustment dial number indicator is as red as it should be. This Is a Fantastic Looking Razor! 100% mechanically.

 The razor is clean and shiny.  It opens and closes smoothly. The adjuster plate raises and lowers as you twist the adjusting knob as it should when you adjust the shave.  The lower the number, the less likely you will knick your skin.  As the pictures indicate, there is No Pitting, Brassing or Corrosion. The Razor Has Just Had a Brand-New Mirror Nickel Plating.  

 The black paint on the numbers is in Fantastic Condition as is the ring below the adjusting dial. The razor has been cleaned, polished sanitized and is ready to use.  This item is in Refurbished Re-Plated Condition with a brand-new beautiful coat of Mirror Nickel Plating.

Our process:

3. Polishing and resurfacing, mirror polish where needed.

4. Hand Polish with special jewelers cloths.

5. Ultrasonic Deep Clean / Disinfecting at 160 degrees, 160 degree Electroclean, Surface Activation, then our Awesome Bright Nickel Plating.

6. If indicated- 24K Hard Gold Plate or White Platinum.

7. For Adjustables I paint the numbers and selector spring with Testors enamel paint. The black ring below the selector dial on Fatboys and Executives is now USA made automotive pinstriping, which in our experience lasts longer than painting with enamel. 

8. Reassembly, blade gap is checked and set, mechanics are checked.
