Gillette Fat Boy Razor 1958 TTO Adjustable Replated Mirror Nickel D4–27.  The Gillette Fatboy is an adjustable razor (1-9), which fine tunes your shave.  This is regarded as one of the best razors that Gillette ever made!  I own quite a few other FATBOYS, and they are awesome shaving razors!

  

 All mechanics work great, 100%, the TTO (twist to open) knob turns easily to open the blade compartment doors and closes tightly as it should to hold the blade in place, the adjustment wheel turns as it should and clicks on every number.  This razor is Absolutely perfect.  The numbers on the adjuster wheel aren't missing any of the black paint.  Also, the ring under the adjuster wheel is as black as if it was new.  This great vintage razor is a fine collectible for any collection or used as a daily shaver.

Our process:

The original razor is disassembled, cleaned and disinfected. Then any repairs or adjustments are made. Next, the razor is polished, outer doors, outer cap, end caps, and guard edge are mirror polished, followed by a hand polish. We then plate the razor with Nickel Plating. White Platinum or 24K Gold is plated over the Nickel for those razors plated with precious metals. Finally, the razor is reassembled and adjusted. Blade gap is checked with a blade in, between the blade and guard. Fatboy numbers are repainted and the stripe is installed (USA Made Auto Pinstriping). No warranty is implied for the paint or pinstriping. The Plating comes with a 6 month warranty to not crack, chip, wear off, flake or discolor.
